Christina Fawn (formerly of Guts Glory and Glitter) launched her new blog with a book give away recently. I so totally destroyed the competition and won a copy of Dalton Trumbo's Johnny Got His Gun. Free books are always on point and I just got mine in the mail yesterday.
Books, gunslinging, road trips, juicing! There's something for everyone at Tin and Phoenix so go check it out!
We here at the Camp of the Praetorians were also recently added to MSgt B's List of Awesomeness over at his blog My Muse Shanked Me. He's an Air Force guy so it's no surprise he thinks so highly of us. Besides, any patched member of Monster Hunter International can't be all bad.
Carry on with the web surfing of the day!

Got me some linky-love!
Keep it high and tight 1st Sgt!
Um, I already had a copy so technically you only beat out one other person. Methinks you just wanted to rub it in. Why would I expect anything less? ;)
MSgt B, turnabout is fair play. Semper Fi!
Meadowlark, a win is a win dangit! I'll take 'em where I can get 'em.
Christina's blog is awesome! In between your blog, 1st Sgt., and hers, I am happy with the personal perspectives I get on the Marine Corps.
By the way, I'm taking a class called Career Exploration, and I wonder if I am freaking out my teachers will all the research I am doing about the Marine Corps. In a paper I did about my desire to join the Marines, I helpfully provided links to your blog and Christina's as resources. :)
Congratulations on your win, 1st Sgt., and happy reading!
Erika, you are a fine American.
Shirley that's not "bow tying shenanigans", that's raw materials to make a garrote?
Anyway, well done for getting your name picked. I'm sure you trained hard for that victory.
